My Background & Education
I began my academic journey at Acadia University, graduating in 2015 with a Bachelor of Kinesiology. Building on this foundation, I went on to study at the University College of Osteopathy in London, where I completed my Master of Osteopathy degree in 2021. This blend of kinesiology and osteopathy gives me a deep understanding of the human body, movement, and how to restore balance and function.
Experience & Volunteering
Alongside my clinical training, I’ve gained valuable experience volunteering with both the elderly and children with special needs, which has shaped my compassionate and patient-centred approach to care.
My sporting background is also an important part of who I am. Having played rugby, ice hockey, and golf at competitive levels, I understand firsthand the demands of sport, the challenges of injury, and the importance of rehabilitation and prevention.
Areas of Interest & Specialisation
I am happy to treat anywhere in the body however I have a special interest in chronic pain and neurological conditions, supporting patients in managing complex, long-term issues. My particular clinical expertise lies in treating musculoskeletal presentations of the shoulder and spine, using tailored treatment plans to improve function, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life.
My Approach
I believe that healthcare should be personal, empowering, and focused on the whole person—not just the symptoms. At Maple Leaf Osteopathy, my goal is to work with each patient to create effective, practical solutions that help them feel stronger, move more freely, and enjoy life with less discomfort.
I’m excited to support people of all ages and backgrounds in their journey toward better health and wellbeing.

How Our Story Started
At Maple Leaf Osteopathy, our mission is simple: to help people across Chelmsford and Essex move better, feel stronger, and live free from pain.
Founded by Jason Mosher, a fully qualified and experienced osteopath, the practice was created to make professional osteopathic care more accessible for busy lives. Unlike most clinics that only open during standard hours, we specialise in flexible, out-of-hours appointments and home visits, so you can get the treatment you need without having to rearrange your day.
Jason brings a wealth of expertise in treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, from back and neck pain to sports injuries, postural issues, and chronic discomfort. Using a combination of techniques — including spinal manipulation, soft tissue therapy, muscle energy techniques, and dry needling (in clinic) — every treatment is tailored to your individual needs.

Osteopathy is a way of detecting, treating and preventing health problems by moving, stretching and massaging a person's muscles and joints.
Osteopathy is based on the principle that the wellbeing of an individual depends on their bones, muscles, ligaments and connective tissue functioning smoothly together.
Osteopaths use physical manipulation, stretching and massage with the aim of:
increasing the mobility of joints
relieving muscle tension
reducing pain
enhancing the blood supply to tissues
helping the body to heal
They use a range of techniques, but not medicines or surgery.
In the UK, osteopathy is a health profession regulated by UK law.

When osteopathy is used
Most people who see an osteopath do so for help with conditions that affect the muscles, bones and joints, such as:
lower back pain
uncomplicated neck pain (as opposed to neck pain after an injury such as whiplash)
shoulder pain and elbow pain (for example, tennis elbow)
problems with the pelvis, hips, knees and legs
sports injuries
muscle and joint pain associated with driving, work or pregnancy
